In this interactive lecture Dr Dan Gordon, Principal Lecturer Sports Science, Anglia Ruskin University, and colleagues will discuss the nature of pacing in sport and how this is a function of inputs from biological and cognitive perspectives. The session will show how effort perception is a learnt response but is not a transferable skill. The session will also show how this can be applied to actual sporting and exercise scenarios.
