Dr Marek Kukula, Public Astronomer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, return to the Cambridge Science Festival for another lively, surprising and fun look at the real-life science of Doctor Who.
This time, he’ll explore the greatest – and strangest – achievements from the brilliant, impossible world of Doctor Who. Bursting with firsts and bests both human and alien – from the biggest explosion in the universe to the first human to time-travel; from the Doctor’s longest fall through space (it lasts for days!) to the shortest life-form that ever lived – this talk will answer all of your burning questions about the last of the Time Lords and his adventures through time and space. And of course he’ll address the new 13th Doctor, as played by Jodie Whittaker.
