The Imposter Phenomenon refers to the inability to recognise one’s own success or achievement, instead crediting luck or other external factors. In this interactive session, Dr Theresa Simpkin will share her research into this phenomenon and invite visitors to think about how women in particular continue to ‘unmake’ their own successes and play down their own, often outstanding, achievements at work and in life.

The event is part of Chelmsford Ideas Festival.
