The Mifune Tusji Trio – Mifune Tsuji on violin, Jin Theriault on saxophone and Paul Jackson on piano – return with a programme of ancient and modern music, exploring common themes across the extreme ends of music composition from around the world. The notion of musical reinvention is also featured in this eclectic programme, which includes Vivaldi’s famous La Follia, Graham Lynch’s French Concerto, a newly-commissioned work based on the music of Couperin, and Béla Bartók’s striking Contrasts.

This event is part of Cambridge Festival of Ideas.
