Cathrine Jansson-Boyd, Anglia Ruskin University, talks about the positives and negatives about being a consumer. She looks at how different types of consumer activities can impact on people’s psychological well-being as well as how it may be influenced by marketing. She also outlines the underlying ethics of consumption in that what we consume does not just affect our own mental health but also others mental health and physical wellbeing.
