Social Storm: solve a real-life social problem

17 - 18 November 2017, 12:00 - 13:00
Chelmsford campus

Here’s a great opportunity to test your skills as well as your stamina! Social Storm is a 24-hour, out-of-classroom learning activity, where you're challenged to solve a real-life social problem.

This unique opportunity operates entirely in a virtual space, so students from across the world can work together. It's a chance to apply your entrepreneurial skills and mindsets to social issues – to collaborate, be creative and experiment with ideas.

Teams are mentored throughout the process and must produce a summary business plan, a three-minute video pitch on the product or service they propose as a solution, and a 250-word foundation statement to explain how they used the different skills of each team member.
