Using Games to solve human issues
REACTOR run a series of challenges throughout the project working with either a charity, a public organisation or a business to seek solutions tackling a societal or business challenge using gamification. From creating better cities, making older people safer to reducing obesity or enabling more people to connect with arts and heritage. Each event will be supported by a briefing event.
To assist eligible companies with their product concepts
Concept development workshops will support teams to work up concepts from ideas submitted in response to the Big Games Challenges or build on concepts which are supported by REACTOR grants. These workshops are a chance to get advice direct from games producers and developers which will enable businesses to improve their concepts; pitch more successfully and launch more effectively.
REACTOR project SMEs pitch
An opportunity for SMEs working with the REACTOR project to pitch their great concepts to sector representatives and users who will question, challenge and provide advice on how the ideas might be improved, delivered or financed. An exciting evening of new applied games ideas helping to further refine concepts, tackle challenges and develop viable products.
A focused opportunity to engage with games experts and see excellence in practice. Seminars from industry leaders; short workshops; 1-2-1 meet ups with new partners, suppliers, student and graduate talent; Showcase of applied games from our SME partners.
