Hello guys, welcome back to my blog. Today I want to focus on the process of picking a university after I gave you an insight into choosing my course last time.My personal journey to the Chelmsford/Essex area was due to being an au pair. That story is for another blog, though! Once I was sure I wanted to study, I had to find a university. I had already partly given up, as I could not find a nutrition course – when suddenly I noticed that ARU in Chelmsford started offering a BSc Nutrition! I already knew and loved Chelmsford so I decided to visit the campus and have a look around. A great decision, as I realised that ARU is not just a good university but also has a lovely campus and is located so nicely. The whole Medical Science area, including our SuperLab, is brand new, which excited me a lot. It feels amazing to be one of the first to use the facilities! Especially for the nutrition course, as there is lots of dedicated equipment for things such as body composition analysis and a lot of other practical things. Also, the library is set up in a great way, so you can sit with your friends and chat while working or go to the upper floors where it is absolutely silent (Advice: do not rip up paper here – people do not appreciate it as I learned the hard way!). So the whole educational site is amazing!
