People love saying that Valentine’s Day is just a conglomerate ploy to get us to spend exorbitant amounts of money in a superficial show of affection. They might not be wrong, but the way I see it, any day which nudges us to celebrate the love we share with one another should at least be acknowledged.

I had eight modules during my first year of undergraduate study.
