The Nuffield Foundation is once again advertising its twice-annual call for research, development and analysis proposals.
Applications in education, welfare and justice are welcome, particularly in light of the Foundation's aim to 'advance educational opportunity and social well-being across the UK'.
The Guide to Applicants is an essential reference for any potential applicant to this call. It states that their funded project will:
Within the Guide there are also detailed explanations of the priority areas of the Foundation in topics such as Teaching Quality, Skills, Family Dynamics and Labour Market Outcomes, Geographical Inequalities, and Family and Youth Justice, among others.
Projects may be in various forms from review to research to translation. Most grants are funded between £50,000 and £300,000, but some can be up to £500,000 or as little as £10,000. Projects are expected to last between six months and three years.
Outline applications must be submitted by 2 October 2017.
