Mistress Wigram’s Whimsy specialises in innovative programming. You might not have heard of some of the composers featured but you are guaranteed that the music will contain lots of glorious tunes and be enormous fun.

In this concert Mahler’s well known Songs of a Wayfarer is paired with music typical of the between-the-wars period by Hans Eisler and from Kurt Weill ‘s morality tale Happy End, and the exuberant romp Frankenstein in which every musician doubles on a toy instrument!
