Neal Lawson is the Director of the progressive pressure group Compass and a leading writer and activist. He has been one of the key figures over the last decade in trying to stimulate new thinking on the left. He writes regularly for the Guardian and is seen frequently on current affairs programmes like Newsnight. He has written books about democracy and the problems of consumerism.
This event is an opportunity to debate issues about whether a new, less tribal way of doing politics is now necessary in the post-Brexit moment. Do please come along and be part of the discussion.
