When you apply for one of our art courses, the portfolio will be an important part of your application. Putting together a portfolio for the first time can seem like quite a challenge, particularly when there is so much else to think about.
At Cambridge School of Art, we want your application and interview process to go as smoothly as possible, so we've put together a guide of useful tips for your portfolio preparation and interview.
Generally a portfolio should include 15-20 pieces of work that show your skills in your chosen artistic domain. Make sure you include the work you most enjoyed making, as this will help us know if you will enjoy working with us.
You can find specific portfolio information for each course under the Entry Requirements on each of our course pages or, for a general overview of portfolio preparation before you apply, sign up as a school or individual for our 'How to compile your portfolio' Taster Day session on 29 November 2017.
