A practising designer, Mark's research interests concern the interplay between mathematics, technology and materials, principally concentrating on 3D construction.
Mark graduated with an MA in Fashion Design (Fashion Womenswear) from Central Saint Martin's College of Art & Design. Since graduating, Mark has exhibited work as part of London Fashion Week and successfully worked as a freelance womenswear and knitwear designer, stylist and creative pattern cutter for a variety of national and international brands. Previously appointed Course Leader in Foundation Art & Design (Fashion & Textiles) at Oxford Brookes University, and lecturer in Fashion Illustration at Kingston University, his teaching specialisms are surface textiles, pattern cutting and 3D design realization.
