Student film wins second national award

We’re please to announce that  a film by second year BA (Hons) Film and Television Production students has won the National Association for Higher Education in the Moving Image’s 'Eat Our Shorts' Award.

Apollo, made under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Sophie Jackson, beat off fierce competition at a screening in Regents Street Theatre, London on 11 December 2015.

This is the second film award win for this film and the team after they previously won the Audience Vote at the 2015 Wimbledon International Film Festival.

NAHEMI’S ‘Eat Our Shorts’ celebrates new talent every year by bringing together student filmmakers from all over the UK and Ireland to see each other’s work and share creative experiences.

The filmmakers won passes to the Future Film Festival at the BFI and Amazon vouchers.
