Anglia Ruskin Research Centre for Intercultural and Multilingual Studies (ARRCIMS)

Based in ARU's School of Humanities and Social Sciences, our research centre aims to facilitate international communication.

We do this by exploring the dynamics of culture and identity, language and identity, group mentalities and communication patterns, but also individual and social factors of speaking a second language, within our increasingly globalised world.

Directors: Professor Guido Rings and Dr Bettina Beinhoff.
