When you choose to study on one of our courses, we understand your main goal is to find a career that you love.
Whether that's in the creative industries, policing, politics, or academia, we're here to give you not only the best opportunities to find the right job, but also the skills that will help you succeed no matter what you turn your hand to.
We have two Academic Leads for Employability in our faculty, both dedicated to helping you find placements and contacts in the fields you want to explore: Cyndy Hawkins and Dr Beatriz Acevedo. Get in touch with them any time to find out how they can help you.
Our Excellerate scheme will allow you to gain employability and entrepreneurship skills by taking on opportunities and roles at ARU, giving you real-world experience to put on your CV. You could become a Digital Student Ambassador, providing content for our social media platforms; a Student Workshop Leader, developing and delivering workshop activities to young people; or a filmmaker, photographer, copy writer or Open Day Ambassador.
There are plenty of opportunities to develop both your specific technical and broad-based transferable skills. If you want to learn more, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
