BA (Hons) Fashion Design work

Students on our BA (Hons) Fashion Design course explore techniques including traditional and creative pattern cutting and draping, surface textiles with knitwear, styling, and digital media, creating a final collection to present at our annual degree show.

These skills not only prepare them for a career as a fashion designer, but for roles such as styling, buying, pattern cutting, illustrating, and trend forecasting.

You can see more work from graduating BA (Hons) Fashion Design students on our PRESENT Showcase site.

In 2021, our 2nd year students worked on a live project with the Portuguese denim brand Heavy Jeans. The primary focus of the project was to design a collection of sustainable products for their spring/summer 2022 campaign. Heavy Jeans has kindly dedicated space on their website to promote the project.
