TB-Test aims to develop a mobile enabled Point-of-Care (POC) platform to detect Tuberculosis by capturing and analysing images for urine and saliva samples. Our research is in partnership with Universiti Putra Malaysia and is funded by the Newton Fund. This project is managed within i Lab 1 - Medical Informatics.
SmartLink is an external co-operation project funded under Erasmus Mundus Action 2 (EMA2). The project focuses on fostering international cooperation between 9 European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and 11 HEIs in emerging Asian countries through the promotion of mobility at all level of studies and training for students, PhD candidates, Post-doctoral researchers, academics and administrative staff.

FUSION is an external co-operation project funded under Erasmus Mundus. This project aims to foster partnerships of emerging Asian countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, China, India, and Thailand) with the EU countries (Bulgaria, France Germany, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, and UK) to reinforce the existing collaborations developed through the EU funded projects. The key objective of the FUSION consortium is to enhance the capacity for international cooperation between universities in the Asian and EU countries by facilitating transfer of people, know-how, culture and best practice in training the next generation of researchers and academic staff.
