Professor Colin Bryson and a student from the Combined Honours Centre at Newcastle University will consider the benefits and challenges of working in partnership between students and staff in learning and teaching. Although they are advocates of this approach, they recognise that there are practical obstacles and issues in doing this successfully, and we need to be honest about these. But they will demonstrate examples of a range of practices and suggest some good ways forward.
