Each year Anglia Ruskin University publicly celebrates and rewards outstanding contributions made to the achievement of our ambitions.
If you’ve demonstrated a positive attitude and done something which is ambitious, imaginative and collaborative, we want to hear all about it.
We encourage nominations from individuals and teams whose work might not be as visible as others, but whose contribution is nonetheless essential to our success.
We can award up to 8 awards each year, with a monetary value of £2000* each. The award may be take in cash** or used (subject to agreement) to purchase equipment, make charitable donations, etc. Successful nominees will also receive an invitation to a prestigious event to celebrate their achievement where they will be presented with a framed certificate and a lapel pin.
* At its discretion, the panel may award more money to a successful team.
** Money taken in cash will be subject to tax and national insurance contributions.
Colleagues from all support services as well as academic staff are eligible to apply. The awards will be interpreted in the broadest sense subject to the VC award guidance.
Please read the VC award guidance document carefully and then complete either the individual application form or the team application form. A full application (nomination and supporting statement) should be emailed to us (email@example.com) with 'Vice Chancellor's Award' in the subject line by the closing date below.
Your application should not exceed the word count (1,000 words, excluding words on the form). Applications may include appendices (up to three sides of A4) of evidence of impact (e.g. data, pictures, graphics, quotations and web links). These do not count towards the word count.
Applications need a supporting statement from your Dean/Director of Service. They should receive your claim by 17.00 on Friday 23 February 2018 in order to have time to provide this.
You should send your nomination with your supporting statement to Anglia Learning & Teaching (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 17.00 on Friday 2 March 2018.
