Monthly update May 2018

Published: 30 May 2018 at 09:00

Welcome to the May 2018 Update of what's happening in learning, teaching and assessment.

Join Dr Paul McDermott of University of East Anglia at June’s Talking about teaching seminar “A methodology that makes self-assessment an implicit part of the answering process” on Thursday 28 June. Paul will introduce a format for multiple choice questions (MCQ), implicit in which are measures of student confidence. The event will start at 12pm with lunch and Paul will give his seminar at 12.30pm. This seminar will be of particular interest to colleagues who currently use or want to develop active learning approaches.

If you have any contributions for the June update, please drop us a line at alt@anglia.ac.uk by Friday 15 June.
