Our campuses are open as usual. If any event affects our campuses, such as severe weather, we’ll post updates here.

When there is adverse weather it's possible there may be disruption to public transport and delays on the roads. In these cases if you’re travelling to campus, please plan your journey, dress warmly and wear shoes with a good grip.

If driving to campus, make sure you check the roads before you travel and visit the AA for Winter driving advice. Here are some top tips from the Met Office for staying safe in snow.

For students

If our campuses are open but you cannot make it to campus due to weather conditions please let us know as soon as possible via Ask ARU.

If you have an exam scheduled, please also submit an exceptional circumstances form and speak to a Student Advisor as soon as possible. More information on the process and how to complete it. If your train is cancelled, find out what you need to support your exceptional circumstances claim.
