Once you've applied over the phone and we are able to offer you a place we’ll follow this up with a formal offer email. Don’t worry if you don’t receive your email straight away as it can take a little while to send these out. Do check your junk folder though as sometimes emails can end up in there.
Once you have had your email, you will have 24 hours to refer yourself to us via your UCAS Track account or to complete and return to us the Record of Prior Acceptance (RPA) form.
If you refer yourself to us directly, without calling us first, we’ll review your UCAS application and confirm our decision on Track. If we’re able to offer you a place this will mean that you have accepted a place with us.
If you haven't applied through UCAS, you will need to email your completed form, along with copies of your educational certificates to firstname.lastname@example.org by the deadline in your offer email. We've sent a link to the form, and the guidance notes, in your offer email.
All Clearing offers are conditional until we’ve confirmed your educational qualifications. If you applied via UCAS this information may be provided to us electronically. If not, we will need to check your certificates or results slip before we can confirm your offer.
Once you’ve met the conditions of your offer you’ll be sent a welcome email that tells you how to register online. It’s important that you do this as soon as possible as it will give you access to your timetable and to university facilities such as our University Library. Your email will also tell you when and where you need to report on your first day.
You can apply online for accommodation. At this point in the year our halls of residence are getting very full so make sure you contact our Residential Service Team as soon as possible. If no rooms are available in halls of residence our House Hunting Team will help you find private rented accommodation. Contact email@example.com for Chelmsford and firstname.lastname@example.org for Cambridge
Watch out for your welcome email from us, which contains helpful information. You'll then register on a system called E-vision. Your timetable will be ready for you 5 days after you have registered. Then watch out for email from Student Services inviting you to do the online induction.
We have lots of activities to help you settle in, make friends and enjoy your time with us. Visit our welcome pages to find out more.
If you have applied through Clearing, read our clearing guide to find out what happens next.
