This course is for registered paramedics who wish to expand their role by becoming mentors. It has been designed to prepare you to offer skilled, high quality support to learners in practice, underpinned by a professional value base and a commitment to the NHS values.

Entry requirements

If you wish to be considered must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) for a minimum of six months. All applicants will complete a practice document, which requires the support of a mentor who is in a position to support you for the duration of this course. To be registered on the course at level 6 you will need to demonstrate that you have a first degree all other candidates will automatically be registered for level 5.
