International Community Experience (ICE) finds ways for you to travel abroad, volunteer, gain valuable experience and grow as a person - not only are you helping others, but it'll help you in life and make you stand out in the employability stakes.

Current and future projects: (exact dates TBA)

  • Mission Ukraine - Summer 2016
  • Mission Botswana - Summer 2016
  • Sustainable Sainji (Indian Himalayas) - Easter 2016

Depending on the project you could spend a couple of weeks in one of these countries helping to make a real difference.

Current ICE projects involve working in a centre in Ukraine that carries out medical and social rehabilitation for children with problems of the central nervous system due to the Chernobyl disaster, learning difficulties and other conditions.

An amazing experience - I had no idea what to expect and found it inspiring, humbling, thought provoking, challenging, frustrating, and unlike anything I have ever done before.

You'll do maintenance on the buildings; working in a residential, rehabilitation and education centre for children who are blind, partially-sighted and/or disabled in Botswana.

The newest project is in the foothills of the Himalayas in India, working in a school, developing an improved water supply system, educating the village in health, hygiene and nutrition, and general maintenance around the village.

Mission Ukraine has been the best experience of my life. The experience was indescribable. I had learnt so much about the world and personal life lessons.
