Congratulations on receiving a place to study at Anglia Ruskin and an offer to live in student accommodation at:
You’ll be able to collect your keys and move in from the start date given on your offer of accommodation letter. This is also the start date of your occupancy agreement with us.
If you’re going to be living in CB1 or The Railyard, the managing agents will contact you directly about start dates.
Before you move into your new home, please make sure that you’ve:
With some of our houses, you can set up internet access in advance so you’re online from the moment you arrive. Register for internet access at Anastasia House, Peter Taylor House, Swinhoe Hall, Collier Road (university shared houses) and our Student Village in Chelmsford.
Wondering what you’ll need to bring with you? Check our page What’s in the room and what to bring for more information.
We email all our students asking them to complete an online accommodation induction before moving in to university accommodation. When you do this, please tell us the date and time (approximately) you’ll be arriving. We’ll then have your keys ready for you to collect on the day.
You’ll need log-in details to complete our online induction. If you haven’t received these, or you’re having any trouble booking your arrival date, please contact us.
Your room is available from the start date given in your offer of accommodation letter. If you’re arriving before this date, you’ll need to arrange a place to stay. Our bed and breakfast, hotel and apartment listings for Cambridge and Chelmsford have details of places to stay - or you can search online for other options in Cambridge and Chelmsford.
Once you’ve completed your online induction, we’ll let you know where to collect your keys.
When you come to collect the keys, please bring:
We can’t issue keys unless you have these two things.
We organise an Orientation Programme for international students coming to Anglia Ruskin for the first time. It includes campus and city tours, and useful information about living in the UK.
Don't forget to check our What you need to know web pages before travelling. You can also contact us if you have any questions.
Have a safe journey; we look forward to meeting you.
