Faculty and Department research ethics panels

Our Faculty Research Ethics Panel (FREP) or Departmental Research Ethics Panel (DREP) conduct ethical reviews of research proposals for staff and students in the Faculty of Science & Technology (FST).

Completed ethics application forms should be submitted to the relevant DREP Secretary for all risk category 1 (green) or risk category 2 (amber) and to the FREP Secretary for all risk category 3 (red).

Faculty of Science & Technology Research Ethics Panel (FREP)

Our Faculty Research Ethics Panel (FREP) usually meets on a monthly basis, and will only consider applications received by the deadline for each meeting.

If you'd like any advice on completing the ethics application form, please contact the FREP member in your department.
