Gender, Sexuality, Sexual Health and Reproduction Research Area
The Gender, Sexuality, Sexual Health and Reproduction (GeSSHaR) Research Area focuses on two broad interrelated strands of research:
- the social psychology of gender and sexuality, including for example work on masculinities, gender stereotyping, sexism and prejudice towards sexual and gender minorities,
- sexual health and reproductive health psychology, including psychosocial aspects of HIV, disability and sexual health, and the psychological implications of reproduction and infertility.
The Gender, Sexuality, Sexual Health and Reproduction Research Area is part of the Applied, Social and Health Psychology Research Group.
