Anglia Ruskin graduate wins Wildscreen Panda Awards

Former Anglia Ruskin student Ben Garrod has won an award at the world's largest and most prestigious international wildlife and environmental film festival.

Ben won the Presenter Led award category at the 2014 Wildscreen Panda Awards, for his BBC4 television series, The Secret Life of Bones.

After winning at the awards, which are dubbed 'the Oscars of the wildlife television and film industry', Ben was described as having 'great style, charming and natural... [his] genuine curiosity comes across very well on screen.'

Ben studied Animal Behaviour at Anglia Ruskin in Cambridge from 2002-05 and has kept close links with us since. He wrote about his time here and his journey to where he is now on a recent guest blogger post.
