The Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Science are hosting The World Football Academy with special guest speaker Raymond Verheijen. The World Football Academy has developed a one day introductory course for football coaching professionals that will enable you to develop skills and strategies to increase fitness through football games, avoiding accumulation of fatigue, maximising player freshness and looking at how to remain injury free.

This will be achieved by concentrating on:

  • Football Conditioning Exercises and Games
  • Periodisation Model
  • Team and Individual Periodisation

For the first time in a few years the WFA are back in the UK to present Periodisation in Football. This provides a unique opportunity for UK-based coaches and players to see Raymond speak live. By studying this 1-Day course you will have all the information you need to develop a plan to maximise your team’s success. Additionally, as a result of completing this course you will receive a WFA certificate in Periodisation; permitting you to access further learning opportunities within the World Football Academy.
