Want to continue your studies or return to us? As a current student or alumnus of our university you could qualify for the following scholarships.

When you apply for one of our postgraduate taught courses, you'll be automatically assessed for eligibility to receive both scholarships.

Alumni Scholarship

Through our International Alumni Scholarship (international students) and Alumni Postgraduate Scholarship (UK/EU students) schemes, a scholarship of up to £1,000 per student per course will be awarded to current students and alumni who are accepted on one of our postgraduate taught courses.

Faculty of Science & Technology Achievement Scholarship

An additional scholarship of up to £1,000 per course will be awarded to current students and alumni who are accepted on to one of our postgraduate taught courses who achieve a final classification of a 1st or 2:1 (or equivalent score) in their undergraduate degree. Joining us from another Faculty in ARU?

We offer several Masters courses that do not require a related Bachelor of Science degree. These include MSc Project Management, MSc Property and Facilities Management, MSc Information and Communication Technology (Conversion), and our MSc Sustainability.

If you have relevant work experience you can also consider applying for our MSc Applied Positive Psychology, MSc Cyber Security, MSc Cloud Computing, MSc Town Planning, MSc Conservation of Buildings and MSc Engineering management.

Terms and conditions

  • Scholarships only apply to students studying or who have studied at core Anglia Ruskin campuses. Core Anglia Ruskin campuses are defined as our Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough (Guild House) campuses and the scholarship will only apply to students who gain acceptance on a course being taught at one of these locations.
  • Scholarships will be applied and distributed on a yearly basis.
  • Achievement scholarships will be applied to a maximum value of £1,000 per student, per year.
  • Alumni scholarships will be applied to a maximum value of £1,000 per student, per year.
  • Full-time postgraduate taught course scholarships will be applied for a maximum period of up to one year.
  • Part-time postgraduate taught course scholarships will be applied on a pro-rata basis for a maximum period of up to two years.
  • Scholarships only apply to current or alumni students of Anglia Ruskin University accepted to start a full-time or part-time postgraduate Science & Technology taught course in September 2016/January 2017.
  • Scholarships will not be applied retrospectively to current Postgraduate taught or research course students.
  • The Faculty of Science & Technology at Anglia Ruskin University reserves the right to withdraw the Achievement Scholarship at any time and without prior notice.
