Jenna is an experienced applied animal behaviour and welfare consultant and scientist, specialising in owned and kennelled companion animals
Before joining Anglia Ruskin University early in 2014 Jenna was a Teaching Fellow at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh and a free-lance animal behaviour and welfare consultant. Previous to that she also worked as an Education Officer for the Scottish SPCA and a Scientific Officer for the RSPCA’s Companion Animal Department. Jenna enjoys providing continuing professional development for international welfare charities and universities and has recently developed and delivered animal behaviour and welfare lectures and workshops to university lecturers, veterinary students and welfare organisations in China and the Philippines.
Here at Anglia Ruskin, Jenna is chair of our Animal and Environmental Biology Group's (Life Science) Research Ethics Committee and a member of the Faculty of Science and Technology’s Research Ethics Committee.
