Background

Itay is specifically interested in the decision-making process (eg anticipation) in team sports. He finds teams intriguing because of the complex dynamics involved in sharing information among teammates. He is also interested in the effects of environmental stimuli, such as odours, on exercise performance and related cognitive variables (eg attention). In his work, Itay values the scientific-practitioner approach and emphasises both the applied and research learning experiences.
