Please note that from 2014 we will be moving from Fulbourn to a new site named Young Street, close to our East Road campus.

Set in ample grounds, the site provides a pleasant learning environment just a stone's throw from the city of Cambridge (including the main Anglia Ruskin campus) and the local Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Library

The library offers a range of space and facilities including provision for individual silent study, use of multi-media, networked PCs, wireless connectivity for laptops and standard IT applications. Friendly and expert staff are on hand to provide support at reception and run a comprehensive programme of information and study skills training.

Skills lab

We have 3 clinical skills labs on site. The skills theatre is used to train our Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) and mirror's a real life theatre. ODPs use the facility to develop their practical skills, such as airway management, surgical instrumentation, patient positioning and surgical/anaesthetic techniques.

The second of our clinical skills lab is designed to mirror a real-life nursing environment. Student nurses use the facility to develop their practical nursing skills, such as moving and handling, resuscitation, bed making, aseptic techniques and infection control.

The third clinical skills lab is used by our nursing and midwifery students. The midwifery students use the facility to develop their practical skills such as moving and handling, basic life support as well as for normal birth workshops and emergency midwifery practice scenario's.

Accommodation

Accommodation for our nursing, midwifery and operating department practice students is available at Harston House, Addenbrookes (less than 5 miles from Fulbourn).
