Public transport
By bus/coach
The bus station is a 15 minute walk from our campus, located on Duke Street. Local bus services, run by First Group, and National Express coaches usually stop here.
By train
Our campus is only a 10 minute walk from the station which is on the main London Liverpool Street - Ipswich line. Travel time to London is approximately 35 minutes.

Parking at Chelmsford
Parking at on our Chelmsford Campus is severely restricted and staff and students who joined us from September 2010 onwards are not permitted to park on campus, with the exception of Blue Badge holders. Please note that some car parking in Chelmsford is available for all students on campus during weekday evenings after 6pm, at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Visitor parking is also limited and must be booked in advance by the member of staff you are visiting.
Park & Ride
Chelmsford has two Park & Ride sites providing a frequent service into Chelmsford.
- The new Chelmer Valley Park & Ride. Buses run straight through our campus! On Monday to Friday, buses run every 10 minutes from 7:00am until 5:00pm, then every 12 minutes until 7:00pm, then a reduced service with the last bus leaving campus at 9:13pm. Buses also run on Saturdays.
- Sandon Park & Ride is at junction 18 of the A12 (the A414/A1060 Maldon Road interchange). The site has over 1100 parking spaces and buses run to the city centre every 10 minutes throughout the day.

Alternative parking
There are also a number of public car parks within easy walking distance of our campus. Rectory Lane has a long stay car park just two minutes walk away and The Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre car park is on Victoria Road only five minutes away. More information on parking within the city is available from the Chelmsford Borough Council website.
