Our People Strategy 2012-14
Our new Corporate Plan for 2012-14 sets out a series of goals and demanding targets for the next three years. One of those goals is that 'more than 90% of staff find their work satisfying, will recommend working here to friends or family, and receive job-related training and development each year.'
This is an ambitious goal which would stretch any organisation in the country but which nevertheless is a driving force of our People Strategy. There are of course other goals with HR dimensions and these are reflected in this strategy.
A key aspect of the strategy is to achieve the goals we have set ourselves in the Corporate Plan in ways which are consistent with our values. Working together and sharing a pride in what we do are key to realising our ambitions and facing the challenges ahead. We shall need to develop our capacity for change and enhance our capability and performance.
I look forward to working with colleagues and in partnership with our trade unions over the next three years to build a staff community, members of which all share a deep sense of pride in Anglia Ruskin's achievements and are truly proud to work here.
