Ixion Holdings Ltd is a limited by guarantee, not-for-profit organisation that is part of the £146m Anglia Ruskin University, delivering government funded provision since 1995 across the South East, NorthEast, London, East Midlands, North West and East of England. We are an integral part of a higher education corporation, with expertise in supply chain management of a complex nature. We have a strong network of staff, excellent IT platforms and a flexible delivery style to meet customer needs.

Ixion is an organisation with an exceptional track record and expertise in planning, setting-up and implementing complex service contracts particularly to challenging timescales.

Ixion is accredited to the Matrix standard, Investors in People (IiP) and is also an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accredited provider.

What do we do?

We deliver end-to-end and specialist back to work support to the hardest-to-help customer groups. In the past 12 months, on our DWP contracts alone (JCPSC, FND, FJF, CTF etc), we have touched the lives of over 7000 people. Particularly those that are most disadvantaged i.e. Offenders, Lone Parents, Young People, BAME groups, people with disabilities and the self-employed.

We deliver our employability contracts alongside the expertise from our £20m Business link East of England contract where we engage with over 98,000 employers a year.

We offer a specialist employer engagement service through our Contact Centre and field based Employer Consultants. By utilising our database of over 3.5 million businesses we offer Job/candidate matching, managing interviews, in-work support, post-employment IAG and account management systems similar to the services we provided to the 168,000 employers on our London Brokerage contract.

Our business focus is "Skills, Leadership and Learning in a Changing World". We provide consultancy and training to all levels of management and business size in organisational development, change, strategy, driving outcomes, value for money, recruitment and business growth - Delivering market-leading expertise.

The Work Programme

Ixion is working to deliver Employment Related Services to support The Work Programme. This will provide an integrated package of support providing personalised help for people who find themselves out of work based on need rather than benefit. Our organisation's overall goal is to support individuals, employers and businesses through social change. We are passionate about providing services that make a difference to individuals and their local community; using social research-based solutions to help gear-up a "Big Society".

Ixion is striving to become a sub-contractor of choice in delivering Employment Related Services and forming relationships with Prime providers to deliver and enhance their provision with specialist interventions and innovative research based delivery models.
