Italian

Italian language courses are offered at Beginner and Intermediate level at the Cambridge campus only. These 2-hour daytime courses run for 12 weeks in each semester (Semester 1: end September-mid December; Semester 2: early February-mid May). The lecturers are highly qualified and experienced teachers and are predominantly native speakers as well. The students are a stimulating mix of Anglia Ruskin University degree students, Erasmus and International students, Anglia Ruskin staff and the general public (Link Students).

The modules focus on all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in an integrated approach which relies substantially on the communicative method.

Assessment consists of in-class tests which are completed by week 12 of each module.

Italian has been taught successfully at Anglia Ruskin University for almost 30 years and students taking the modules have had a high success rate. Student feedback has been consistently positive.
