English language requirements
If English is not your first language, you'll also need to make sure you meet our minimum English language requirements.Students wanting to study courses below degree level (including Foundation degrees) are required to obtain Secure English Language Test (SELT) in order to be eligible to apply for a Tier 4 Student visa. Please speak to your Admissions Officer for further details.

Please find below a list of general documents which we require to support your application:- Qualification certificates and transcripts (please refer to your country page for more information)
- A Statement of purpose outlining your desire to undertake this course. This should include your goals and aims of the course, your intent to study and how you feel this course will further support your personal development
- References (All applicants must provide one reference, be aware that some courses may require two references. The referee should be a course tutor if you have been in education within the last two years or your current or most recent employer. Candidates applying on the basis of work experience must provide at least one reference from their most recent employer. The referee should not be a friend or family member. References must be provided on letter headed paper, signed and dated)
- Proof of name change (if applicable)
- Photocopies of passport to include photograph and personal detail pages and, if you are or have previously studied in UK at a college or university, copies of your visa, immigration stamps and documents used to obtain your Visa (CAS, Visa letter)
- Portfolio (if specified as a requirement in the programme entry criteria)
- Curriculum vitae/Resume Please give details of current and previous employers, together with dates. If the course you are applying for requires professional/work experience as part of the entry criteria, please provide details of your employment on a separate sheet of paper (such as a curriculum vitae, which should include an outline of the responsibilities associated with each position)
