All Venezuelan students are eligible for a £1,000 Merit scholarship for postgraduate courses (MA, MSc, MPhil, and PhD). You do not need to apply for this specific scholarship, as it is automatic.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for students from Venezuela are listed below.

To enter an undergraduate Bachelor's degree

For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelor's degree, students need to have one of the following:
  • Bachillerato with score of above 8 plus foundation programme from a recognised institution
  • Técnico Superior Universitario
  • A recognised foundation qualification

To enter a postgraduate Master's degree

Students applying for a postgraduate Master's degree are required to hold one of the following:
  • Licenciado/Professional title awarded after 4 years of study with a score of above 8 or overall GPA of above 2.8
  • A recognised pre-Masters course

English language requirements

In addition to the academic requirements listed above, you will need to provide evidence that you meet the required level of English language.

Tuition fees and scholarships

Your tuition fees will vary depending on your chosen level of study. For full details please see our fees for 2012/13.

The International Merit Scholarship scheme provides awards of either £500 or £1,000 to well-qualified students applying for any full-time Bachelors or Masters course. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit and level of competence in English language. Once you apply for a course at Anglia Ruskin you will be automatically considered for a scholarship, and details of any award given will be included in your offer letter.
