Entry requirements

For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, you'll need to have one of the following:
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) Grade C
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND East African Advanced Certificate of Education (EAACE) (with 2 Cs)
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND Full Technician's Certificate (FTC) (3 years) (60% or above)
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND Diploma (average of 60% or above)
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND National Accountancy Diploma (NAD) part II (60% or above or Grade C)
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND National Form VI Examination (60% or above)
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND Advanced Cert of Secondary Education (ACSE) (with at least 2 Principal Cs)
  • 5 passes at COSC or EACE or CSE AND Post-CSE Technical College Certificate (3 years) Grade C
  • A recognised foundation qualification or equivalent
To enter a postgraduate Masters degree, you'll need to have one of the following:
  • A UK equivalent bachelors degree (minimum second class lower)
  • Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (from DSM Technical College) 60% or above
  • A recognised pre-Masters course

English language requirements

In addition to the academic requirements listed above, you'll need to provide evidence that you meet the required level of English language.


Tuition fees & scholarships

Your tuition fees will vary depending on your chosen level of study, for full details please see our fees for 2012/13.

Our International Merit Scholarship scheme provides awards of either £500 or £1000 to well-qualified students applying for any full-time Bachelors or Masters course.
