Entry requirements
For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, you'll need to have one of the following:Above minimum requirement:
- Point 3 below with three B grades
- CRIC or Anglia Ruskin approved Foundation Programme
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (from 24 points)
- Two General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level examinations or local Sri Lankan A levels with grade C in relevant subjects with grade C
To enter a postgraduate Masters degree, you'll need to have one of the following:
Above minimum requirements:
- 3 year Bachelors with 1st class honours (70% and above)
- 4 year Bachelors with Upper Second Honours and/or average of 60%
- Successful completion of recognised Pre-Masters course e.g. CRIC
- 4-year Bachelors degree with upper second honours and/or average of 55 - 59%
- Successful completion of a 3 year degree course from a recognised institution with a second class (55% and above)
Improving your employability
Our University runs a mentoring scheme which matches 2nd year students with employees from local organisations. The employees help students to improve their employability by developing workplace skills and business awareness. This could be why 90.4% of our students are in employment or further study 6 months after graduating (2nd only in our region to Cambridge University at 91.2%).
