Soledad del Carmen Veliz Córdova from Chile
MSc in Child Illustration
“Soledad studied for one year in London where she read a book by one of our professors Martin Salisbury. Inspired by him, Soledad decided to apply for our MSc in Child Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University and moved to Cambridge in 2010.
"Cambridge is an excellent city to study. The programme at ARU was extremely different from the programme at King's College. One of the most impressive characteristics of the programme at ARU is the constant supervision by the professors and the excellent relationship between the students. I learnt a lot during my studies at ARU, from the professors as well as my classmates."
She has now moved back to Chile, where she works as a freelance illustrator and also for Universidad de Chile creating illustrations for games for children between the ages of 4 and 9. She also teaches forensic psychology at Universidad Catolica. "I love what I do and if I had not studied at Anglia Ruskin, I would have never discovered how to combine psychology and illustration."

Alonso Carvajal from Santiago de Chile
MSc International Finance
“
I had heard that the university system in the UK is very independent, that they leave you almost alone and you needed to work by yourself. However, my experience at Anglia Ruskin during the first months has been the opposite: they help students enormously in all different concerns about your studies and academic issues: accommodations, health, immigration procedures, etc. Student Services, English department, Chaplaincy Services and Tutor. Everyone does a fantastic job!”
