Entry requirements

For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, you'll need to have one of the following:
Above minimum requirement:

• Anything above that listed below in point 3
• Anything above 80% (CGPA 4.0) that listed below in point 4

Minimum requirements:

• CRIC or Anglia Ruskin approved Foundation Programme (see list accessed from main menu)
• International Baccalaureate with 24 points
• 70% in a Polytechnic diploma
• 70% in HSC (CGPA 3.5)
• Completion of a Diploma in Engineering (3 years)

To enter a postgraduate Masters degree, you'll need to have one of the following:
Above minimum requirements

• 4 year Bachelors (Hons) first class CGPA 3.2 from BUET or selective recognised institutions
• 2 year Masters first class following on from 2 year Bachelors (Hons)
• Successful completion of recognised Pre-Masters course e.g. CRIC plus 4 year Bachelors (Hons) upper second

Minimum requirements:

• Successful completion of recognised Pre-Masters course e.g. CRIC
• 4 year Bachelors (Hons) upper second (CGPA 3.0) from BUET or selective recognised institutions

Improving your employability

Our University runs a mentoring scheme which matches 2nd year students with employees from local organisations. The employees help students to improve their employability by developing workplace skills and business awareness. This could be why 90.4% of our students are in employment or further study 6 months after graduating (2nd only in our region to Cambridge University at 91.2%).
