Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) funding providers
Depending on your home residence and the level and type of course you're looking to study/studying, you may need to apply for a DSA through one of the following channels.
England
- Undergraduate or postgraduate courses (including distance learning courses): Student Finance England
- Pre-registration health professional training courses (NHS funded courses): NHS Student Bursaries
- Undergraduate social work courses: Student Finance England
- Postgraduate social work courses: NHS Business Services Authority
- Students funded by Research Councils: Research Councils UK
Northern Ireland
Students living in Northern Ireland and applying for NHS funded courses: Student Finance Northern Ireland
Students living in Northern Ireland and applying for NHS funded courses: Student Finance Northern Ireland
Southern Ireland
The National Office for Equity of Access to Higher Education have a fund for students with disabilities. Students have to apply through their University.
