Employability and Careers Service

Whether you're a prospective student or currently studying at Anglia Ruskin the Employability and Careers Service can provide advice on a wide range of topics helping you make an informed decision about your education and future career opportunities.

If you're thinking about coming to University, we can advise on:

  • choosing a higher education course; we can help you apply for the course of your choice
  • planning your future; we can help you look at your career options and choose a career that suits you
  • provide advice for mature applicants.

If you're a current student, we can help you:

  • find a job; access local and national job vacancies via the careers service website
  • apply for that job; we can help you develop your CV and advise on making effective application forms
  • develop your interview skills; we can offer you mock interviews and practice sessions for psychometric tests, including feedback
  • through our Employer Mentoring Scheme which matches second year students with employees from local companies
  • with our Careers Information Library; we hold information relevant to your course with many publications to take away.

How to access our services

We offer face-to-face and telephone appointments, drop in sessions and an email advice service.

  • Opening times - Monday to Thursday 9.30 - 17.00; alternate Tuesdays 17.00 - 19.30 during semester time Friday 9.30 - 16.30
