ECTS Student Mobility Scheme

This scheme is modelled on the ERASMUS programme but Anglia Ruskin University does not need to have an agreement with your Home Institution for you to apply. Students applying under this programme will have to pay tuition fees to our University.

Key features of the ECTS Student Mobility Scheme

  • Visiting ECTS students enrol for 60 Anglia Ruskin University credits per semester equivalent to 30 ECTS credits. There are 2 module sizes: The standard module is 15 Anglia Ruskin University credits or 7.5 ECTS credits. Larger modules are worth 30 Anglia Ruskin University credits or 15 ECTS credits
  • Visiting students remain registered for their award/diploma at their home institution. They are responsible for ensuring that the modules chosen at Anglia Ruskin University meet the requirements of their home university and are approved so that the credit can be recognised
  • At the end of the semester, visiting ECTS students will receive our European Diploma Supplement Transcript which will include our Anglia Ruskin University grade and also the ECTS grade.
  • Visiting ECTS students are enrolled as regular students at Anglia Ruskin University and benefit from all the facilities available at the university
  • Students will be encouraged to take appropriate modules in academic English as part of their programme of study to ensure that their language skills develop further.
