EU study abroad and ERASMUS exchange

Study at Anglia Ruskin University as a Visiting Study Abroad or Exchange Student

Our Visiting Study Abroad and Exchange programmes give a fantastic opportunity to students who are interested in studying in the UK for a semester as part of their bachelor degree programme.

All of our courses are modular and credit bearing, which means that providing your Home Institution belongs to the credit conversion system, the credits gained at our University will be recognised as part of your degree programme at your Home Institution.

The information below gives a summary of our different Study Abroad and Exchange programmes. Please click on the relevant links to find out more information about applying to study at Anglia Ruskin University under one of these programmes.

ERASMUS exchange programme

The ERASMUS exchange programme is specifically for students who are currently studying at a European Institution with whom we have an existing ERASMUS agreement. To apply as an ERASMUS exchange student, you need to be nominated by your Home Institution.

If Anglia Ruskin University does not have an exchange agreement with your Home Institution, then you can apply to study at Anglia Ruskin University for 1 semester or for the full academic year* as a Visiting Study Abroad student through our ECTS Student Mobility Scheme.

*Limited places are available for full year EU applicants in 2012/13

ECTS Student Mobility scheme for Visiting Students

This scheme is modelled on the ERASMUS programme but Anglia Ruskin University does not need to have an agreement with your host institution for you to apply. Students applying under this programme will have to pay tuition fees to our University.
