What are tuition fees?
The cost of a course, known as a tuition fee, varies depending on which course you choose to take and whether you study full-time or part-time. Tuition fees contribute to the cost of a course. This may include paying for staff, facilities and equipment. How much will a full-time Undergraduate student at Anglia Ruskin pay?
All universities charge a tuition fee each year; for 2013/14, the maximum an English university can charge is £9,000 a year - a fee set by the UK Government. However, Anglia Ruskin University is charging:- £8,300 a year for a course leading to a degree (eg BA, BSc, LLB)
- £7,500 a year for a foundation degree (FdA/FdSc) or Higher National Diploma/Certificate (HND/HNC)
- £6,500 a year to study for an Anglia Ruskin degree at one of our partners
Do I have to pay for my qualification now?
You don't have to pay your tuition fees before you start studying. The UK government offers tuition fee loans to eligible students to cover the whole of your course. You'll only have to start paying back your tuition fees once you have finished your course and are earning over £21,000 a year. What does the tuition fee pay for?
